Björnbyn, which means 'village of the bears' consists of 38 cosy log cottages situated in the heart of the Swedish province of Värmland and right on the edge of a crystal clear lake.

Throughout the year Björnbyn is a perfect base for individuals, couples, families and groups to explore the beautiful and unspoiled countryside and the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The cottages are equipped for self-catering. But in cooperation with nearby restaurants full- or half-board arrangements are also possible. If you prefer to find the beds already made when you arrive, with towels, soap and shampoo provided, please ask for our House Service.
