Around and About
Björnbyn village is easy to find just off road 62 only 85 km north of Karlstad. Our cottages nestle between Trout River Klarälven and Lake Rådasjön amidst a light pinewood. The ground is covered by carpets of blue- and lingonberries and a sandy beach with shallow water spoils all ages of waterlovers.
Within walking distance you find restaurant, snackbar and a supermarket.
The city of Hagfors, only 12 km away, attracts with more gastronomy, ample shopping (not to forget the typical swedish "loppis" shop), banks, Tourist Information, public pool, skating hall and a hospital.
Situated directly by lake Rådasjön golf players find with Uddeholms Golfklubb (5 km) a perfect scenery and even a harness racing track is not far away (5km).
Klarälvsbanan, a 90 km long nature hiking and biking path between Karstad and Uddeholm passes by Björnbyn village.
